كتب رئيس حزب الكتائب سامي الجميّل بمناسبة عيد الام:" قلبُنا وفكرُنا اليوم مع جميع أمهات لبنان. إلى اللواتي يحملن أطفالهن وسط الخوف، ويصمدن ويحتمين ويواصلن الطريق مهما اشتدت الظروف. نازحاتٍ أو متمسكاتٍ ببيوتهن، متعباتٍ لكن ثابتات، صامتاتٍ لكن قويات. أنتنَّ قوّة هذا الوطن ونبض صموده."
